The MKU boy’s hostels consist of a total of 351 rooms. The MKU hostel facility also includes a well-furnished T.V. Hall, Mess, Library, and WiFi connectivity with adequate water supply available throughout the year.

There are 3 women’s hostel blocks of Madurai Kamaraj University women’s hostel has a total of 317 well-furnished double accommodation rooms with more than 487 inmates. The MKU, Madurai girl’s hostel has facilities such as round-the-clock all-women security, Wi-Fi, TV halls, a visitor’s room, and dining halls with a consistent water supply.

 University Hospital working in collaboration with Apollo Speciality Hospitals renders 24-hour services to the Students, Staff, and families living on the University campus and to the public from 40 neighbouring villages at a nominal charge. There is a range of services provided by Madurai University University Medical facility, some of these are a 24-hour Ambulance facility, X-ray unit, Lab, well-equipped labour theatre, ECG, and nebulizer.

Madurai Kamaraj University library facility is fully air-conditioned and has a vast collection of textbooks, reference books and other resources. The library is installed with CCTV cameras for security purposes. All students and faculty members can access the library facility during their free time after their classroom lectures.

MKU Sports Facilities include a multipurpose indoor stadium, 4 indoor badminton courts, 1 indoor basketball court, 1 indoor & 1 outdoor Volleyball court, 1 outdoor handball court, 1 outdoor kabaddi court, 2 outdoor football grounds, 2 outdoor cricket fields, and a 400mt track for Athletics
