Established in 2014, the North East Frontier Technical University (NEFTU) is situated in West Siang, Arunachal Pradesh. This co-education college offers a varied range of 178 courses across a total of 33 degrees with a total enrolment of 1302 students and a faculty strength of 74. NEFTU is established and approved by the University Grants Commission, while it has Bar Council of India recognition and has approvals from the National Council for Teacher Education and the Pharmacy Council of India. Besides, it is firmly committed to high-quality education and offers a lot of academic programs in the most diverse fields of study, such as engineering, management, law, education, and healthcare.

North East Frontier Technical University has a diverse range of facilities for the improvement of the area related to the student experience. The university provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Some of the coveted programs are: B.Tech programs in various engineering streams, MBA, LLB, B.Ed, and various diploma programs.

Admission at NEFTU is done through an inclusive and merit-based procedure. The university most probably focuses on the academic proficiency of students in the qualifying examinations as a base for entry into different programs. The LLB program and the BA LLB program have an intake of 120 each, while the B.Ed program has 100 students. The D.Pharma program is open to 60 students.
