JEE Main 2025 admit cards to release on January 19, 2025.
Students interested in M.Tech admissions at PEC Puducherry can appear in GATE exam on Feb 1, 2, 15 & 16, 2025.
Eligible candidates can submit the GATE 2025 application form by October 7 with a late fee.
NTA will soon release an official notification regarding the JEE Main 2025 exam on the official website.
About PEC Puducherry
Puducherry Technical University came into existence on September 5, 2020 upon the elevation of erstwhile Pondicherry Engineering College. Puducherry Engineering College, Puducherry was established in 1984 and is an esteemed college that is funded entirely by the government of Puducherry. PTU Puducherry is a state university approved by the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education).
Puducherry Technical University, Puducherry is accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation). PEC Puducherry offers many courses in engineering and architecture, management and business administration, sciences, computer application and IT.
Puducherry Technical University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral-level courses. The courses offered at PEC Puducherry are B.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Tech and PhD. Admission to the B.Tech courses at PEC Puducherry is based on JEE Main scores and M.Tech courses are based on GATE.

Puducherry Engineering College, Puducherry is a state-funded engineering college founded in 1984. Puducherry Engineering College, Puducherry admission is offered for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programmes in various branches. The PEC admission for UG students, B.Tech courses are offered and for PG students M.Tech and admissions to Ph.D. programmes are offered at the doctoral level.

The admission procedure through CENTAC has been mentioned above for the B.Tech programme. Before applying through CENTAC, the JEE Mains marks are mandatory and one should meet the above criteria for marks followed by the counselling process.

PEC Puducherry B.Tech Admission Process 2025
Applicants should first appear for the JEE Mains examination.
After receiving a valid scorecard, one must go through the CENTAC application procedure.
Candidates will have to fill up the CENTAC application form online along with uploading the necessary documents.
Marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be normalised with the marks obtained in the board examination (Tamil Nadu).
A merit list is released after normalising the marks.
Qualifying candidates will have to go through the counselling procedure.
Document verification will be followed by admission of the candidate in PEC.\

Applicants have to first appear for the GATE examination and clear the qualifying cutoff score.
Applicants have to fill out the CENTAC application form online for M Tech admission.
Candidates are selected based on their GATE marks or percentile.
The CGPA from the 3rd to 8th semester of the UG course is considered if there's a tie between candidates due to the same GATE marks.
In case of any vacancy, the seats for M Tech students are then filled by non-GATE candidates.
The selected candidates have to go through a counselling procedure and document verification before admission to PEC.
PEC Puducherry Admission Process 2025: MBA and MCA
For Puducherry Engineering College MCA and MBA admission, candidates have to clear the eligibility criteria of the college.

Hope you are doing great !
The college has a good infrastructure . Placements: Almost 90% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered is 15 lacs per @nnum and the lowest salary offered is Rs..rs 4 lakh per annum .
The college is ranked 49th. It belongs to tier-2 colleges. Not as good as the IIT's and NIT's but a decent state level government institution.

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2021 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that the closing ST rank for Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry in 2021 was around 5.4k for Mechanical branch so with the mentioned ST rank you have very less or almost no chances to get Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry.
