Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualifications for admission to Ph.D. programme (other than inservice candidates and ICAR nominees) shall be an OCPA of 7.00 or 70% marks or equivalent at Master’s level and an OCPA of 5.50 or 55% marks or equivalent at Bachelor’s level as shown against respective discipline (s).
