Surya World University, Patiala Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Both staff and students have access to the Surya World University on campus. There is a full-time physician on staff who can handle medical emergencies. The medical help always includes an ambulance, a lady assistant, and a medical assistant.

Students can use the Surya World University gym at the university. Students can use this facility during their leisure time. This facility is provided to staff, students and faculty members.

The Surya World University has a rich library with thousands of books, journals, magazines, and newspapers. Students are allowed to borrow books from the library. Provision has also been made for a Reading Room in a well-ventilated location.

Since there isn't enough room on the Surya World University current campus to host sports events, permission has been granted by the Patiala District Sports Association to use the renowned indoor stadium as needed. Various sporting events, literary gatherings, and cultural events are planned for Varsity Week. 

The Surya World University has set up a well-designed computer lab that can accommodate up to 25 pupils at once. The departments and offices are connected via a network.

The Surya World University canteen has a catering service which is rented out through a procedure. A committee at the university is tasked with handling canteen-related concerns, keeping an eye on the costs of consumables, and guaranteeing the food's quality and cleanliness. 

The Surya World University campus features a well-equipped sophisticated auditorium. National Level Seminar, State Level Debating Competition, and cultural program sponsored by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) have already been organised in the Auditorium. 

The Surya World University bus service, which runs on a prearranged route between Patiala town and the university, is utilised by both staff and students of the university. In addition, the university possesses a four-wheel drive vehicle for use in an emergency, such as a medical or other emergency.

The Surya World University labs are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and sufficient space to facilitate successful practical classes. There are distinct language and business laboratories at the university. Students can use a department-based laboratory facility at the college.

The Surya World University offers staff, faculty members and students access to Wi-Fi. The router is connected to the internet which in turn is connected to the computer system so that it can be accessed by each and every student on the campus. 

All students at the Surya World University have access to banks and ATMs. This facility makes the students withdraw and deposit their finances.

Surya World University offers waiting rooms and guest houses for visiting professors and student families. Employers, students, staff and faculty members can utilise this facility whenever events are scheduled.

Surya World University classrooms that are clean and have cosy chairs have been set up. Green boards are installed in every classroom. Some classrooms have Smart Boards and LCD projectors installed on the ceiling.
