The Tripura University provides admission in undergraduate, postgraduate diploma, postgraduate and integrated courses. The varsity conducts Tripura University Entrance Test (TUET) for admissions. Tripura University admission to all the programmes is given on the basis of candidates' performance in the TUET. For the M.B.A. programme, MAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT scores are also accepted and candidates also need to appear for personal interviews and group discussions. 

As per the Tripura University admission criteria, the final selection of candidates is done based on performance in the entrance examination and past academic performance. Candidates can apply for admission to the desired courses by visiting Tripura University's online admission portal.

• Candidates should then fill out the application form with the required information.

• The final stage of the application procedure is to pay the Tripura University application fee. 

At the undergraduate level, the university provides 13 courses. The undergraduate programmes are offered in sciences, computer applications & IT, language etc. streams. The Tripura University UG course is offered for the duration of 2-3 years.

• Visit the Tripura University admission portal and fill out the application form.

• Appear for TUET and obtain a valid score. 

• Based on marks in TUET and the last qualifying examination, the merit list is released by the varsity. 

• Candidates whose names are on the merit list are called for counselling.

• Participate in counselling, submit documents and pay programme fees to secure admission to Tripura University Suryamaninagar.

A total of 48 courses are offered at the postgraduate level. It includes postgraduate diploma courses as well. Candidates need an undergraduate degree from a recognised university to be eligible for admission to Tripura University PG courses.

Tripura University MBA Admission Process  

• Meet eligibility criteria and apply for admission. 

• Candidates with a valid score in MAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT are exempted from TUET.

• Appear for TUET and obtain a valid score. 

• Next, appear for personal interviews and group discussions. 

• Based on performance in the entrance exam (50%), personal interview (25%) and group discussion (25%), merit is prepared and released by Tripura University. 

• Candidates whose names are on the merit list need to participate in the university counselling. 

• The final step is the deposition of documents and course fees. 

Tripura University Suryamaninagar PG Admission Process 

• The eligible candidates need to fill out the Tripura University application form.

• Appear for TUET and score the qualifying marks. 

• M.F.A., Master of Music and M.P.Ed. admission selection will be based on 50% marks in TUET and 50% marks in the practical exam to be held by the concerned department.

• The merit list is released by the university for admission. The merit list is calculated based on the entrance tests and past academic performance.

• Candidates who meet merit list requirements are called for Tripura University counselling.

• Complete the admission process by depositing fees and submitting the documents.
