Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla offers courses at the UG, PG, M.Phil and Ph.D levels. The admission process of VSSUT Burla is processed through both online and offline methods. The candidate's success in the JEE Main or the OJEE examination is mandatory for admission to the B.Tech programme at the VSSUT.
Admissions to M.Tech courses are given on the basis of GATE scores. The VSSUT cutoffs are published after the declaration of results and determines its merit list for all the courses. VSSUT cutoff depends on the various factors mentioned below:

The difficulty level and the complexity of OJEE and JEE Main entrance examinations is considered to be one of the main factors in deciding VSSUT cut-off. If the written examination is simple, a high cut-off is required. The estimated cut-off for medium or hard question papers is comparatively low.
The total number of applicants — The cut-off is also determined by the number of students taking part in the qualifying test. The increase in the number of applicants means that VSSUT cut-off will be high.
Availability of seats — VSSUT cut-off also depends on the number of seats available. If the number of seats is higher, the cut-off is assumed to be lower, whereas the cut-off is higher for a lower number of seats.
Note: Students are required to clear VSSUT Sambalpur JEE Main cutoff for VSSUT OJEE cutoff for getting admissions to B.Tech courses and VSSUT GATE cutoffs for admissions to M.Tech courses.
Our college is decent in terms of infrastructure. All the labs are well equipped with the required instruments and devices. Classrooms are equipped with both smart boards and black boards. The library is good enough to fulfill all your requirements.
My college have decent infrastructure for all departments. Especially for core branches, it's quite good. It's a good place for research based study, coz the labs are available for students in working hours. There's no restriction.
The college has all kinds of required equipment for electrical, civil, mechanical and computer science engineering. It has a central workshop which is mandatory for all first year students. The classrooms are well equipped although not air-conditioned. The library has good range of books essential for engineering students. The college had access to Wi-Fi but not the hostels. The food is hygienic enough and the living spaces were bearable.
Hi
Hope you are doing well
Having a Jee category rank upto 1 lakh, it may be difficult to secure core branches like Computer Science or Electronics in (VSSUT)
However, you might have a chance to get admission in less competitive branches such as Civil, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering, especially under the OBC category.
Home state quota: If you are from Odisha, you may have a better chance due to the state quota system.
Special rounds of counseling: Sometimes, seats open up in later counseling rounds or in the CSAB special rounds, where you may have a better chance.

Best Wishes.
Hello student,
With a JEE Mains rank of 68,000 from the OBC category, getting admission to the Electronics branch at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, might be challenging. VSSUT is a well-regarded engineering college, and the cut-off for popular branches like Electronics tends to be much lower.
However, cut-offs vary yearly based on the number of applicants, seat availability, and category-specific reservations. While it might be difficult, you could still try during the later rounds of counseling or look into other less competitive branches.
