West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences, also known as WBUAFS, was established in 1995 and is one of the state universities situated in Kolkata, West Bengal. The college is a veterinary college, and it offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. University ranked 28th in the recently released NIRF 2024 ranking under agriculture category. The CUI considers an 85-acre campus with a total enrollment of 897 students.
WBUAFS provides a total of 75 courses in 8 degrees. The courses offered by the university are Diploma, B.V.Sc. and Animal Husbandry, B.Tech. in Dairy Technology, B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fishery Science), and various M.V.Sc., M.F.Sc, and Ph.D.
WBUAFS admission is based on scores obtained in NEET-UG conducted by NTA. B.Tech Dairy Technology results are earned through the merit obtained in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination, commonly abbreviated as WBJEE. WBUAFS admission to B.F.Sc. is strictly on the basis of marks secured in the higher secondary or any other examinations considered equivalent thereto. As per the WBUAFS placement data, a total of 90 students got placement with a median salary of Rs 12,45,875.

My college is very good. There are many events and functions held in my college. Our college celebrates every festival with great enthusiasm. Our college also celebrate annual sports day. And we went to picnic.
