Adamas Institute of Technology was established in 2008 and is situated at North 24 Parganas district in West Bengal. This is a co-educational institute affiliated with a college that is approved by AICTE. The campus is situated on the Barasat-Barrackpore Road in Barbaria, and AIT has definitely been creating a niche for itself in the field of technical education. It provides a focused learning environment with an enrolment of 200 students and a strength of 27 faculty members. The commitment of AIT towards quality education is reflected by its various streams in the field of Engineering to meet the ever-changing requirements of the industry.

It has a good number of facilities which help in improving the learning process. One such facility for the institute is AIT's library, acting as the knowledge hub with huge books, journals, and other digital resources across different disciplines. The well-equipped laboratories produce practical exposure to students and are quite necessary for technical development in their respective subjects. The institute also offered separate hostel facilities for boys and girls: 138 and 45, respectively. These Wi-Fi-enabled hostels have comfortable living spaces and also have a dynamic community atmosphere. Within the campus itself, there is a manned cafeteria that can serve a variety of items, from quick snacks to full meals suiting the diverse tastes of students.

Adamas Institute of Technology offers an option wherein full-time B.Tech courses will be pursued by students in identified areas of Engineering. Currently, Adamas offers four types of B.Tech courses that are custom-designed to meet the rigors of the fast-changing technological world. There is a total intake capacity of 300 students in these courses, and AIT ensures that the student-faculty ratio is optimum, thus allowing for effective learning with proper individual care also.
