AAMC, an Al-Azhar affiliated institution, is a ten-year-old medical college and super speciality hospital situated at Thodupuzha in Kerala. Located on a large piece of land of 40 acres, this affiliated college offers medical education approved by NMC/NMC. Introducing it, AAMC offers programs in medical field like MBBS and other postgraduate specialisation courses, a total of 6 courses at 3 levels of degrees. The college has a faculty of 106 members who have an expertise in the related field and offer a good faculty for students those who are eager to take up medical field as their carrier.

This college is dedicated into delivering adequate resources for the students in order to facilitate achievement of their ambition. At AAMC, males and females have different hostels so that all student ought to be comfortable when away from home. The campus has a modern, air conditioned, day lit central library with a seating capacity of 150 students besides eight departmental libraries to cater to research needs. The college offers a number of special purpose laboratories for the medical education and have a tie up with super speciality hospital to give practical exposure to the students. The forthcoming sections of AAMC will thus emphasise outdoor and indoor playing fields on parts such as cricket ground, football, and badminton. The college also has a balanced modern IT infrastructure with air-conditioned study rooms which are fitted with internet and computer facilities further improving the college education experience.

Medical courses provided by AAMC covers all levels inlearning from under graduate to post graduate levels. The main and official program is MBBS having an approved strength of 150 students. At postgraduate levels, various degree Awarded by the college are MD in General Medicine, Paediatrics and Respiratory Medicine, MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Orthopaedics.
