Al Kabir Polytechnic was established in 1990 with the financial aid of the Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah and by the efforts of the Kabir Welfare Trust. The institute offers a three-year diploma course in six branches of engineering. The Al Kabir Polytechnic is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to the Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi (JUT).
The Al Kabir Polytechnic offers UG courses in BCA, BBA and B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and diploma courses in 6 branches of engineering. These are: Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Computer science engineering, Civil engineering, Automobile engineering and Electronics engineering. College Infrastructure
College has all the necessities like large infrastructure. Classes are smart classes and wifi facility is available. It has all types of laboratories like electrical, electronics and mechanical etc. It has a large sports complex. Hostels are clean and hygienic.

College have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The laboratories are well equipped and good instruments are available. Wifi is available in campus. Sports centre and common for boys are available. All places are well maintained and updated regularly. Management put extra effort in keeping things in the good condition. We have a canteen in our college and the food and other things available are very much hygienic and healthy to eat. We are also provided with smart board.

College Infrastructure
It has all the necessary facilities like libraries, laboratories of different departments, WiFi, smartBoards, seminar hall, etc. It have also 10 acres of separate playgrounds for sports and tournaments and also has an auditorium. Living space is clean and food is hygienic.
