Applied College of Management and Engineering, or ACME, was established in the year 2007 at Palwal in Haryana and is among the prime educational institutions. This is a co-educational institute affiliated college under the acknowledgement by All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE. The courses in ACME run across engineering and management with a total of 8 courses under 4 degree types.

ACME has a number of facilities aimed at enriching the learning environment and holistic development of students. The central library is a storehouse of knowledge where more than 25,000 books and above 20 journals on different branches of Engineering, Technology, Management, Applied Science, and Humanities are stocked. The academic portfolio of ACME ranges from full-time undergraduate engineering programs at the B.Tech. level to postgraduate research work in Ph.D. level to postgraduate management studies at the level of MBA and diploma courses. At the level of B.Tech, the programs are in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The interested category in management studies would find a two-year full-time MBA program offered by the college. There are three-year diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering offered by ACME.

The admission process in ACME is designed to be comprehensive and completely based on merit. The Institution accepts, for its B.Tech programs, scores of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), which is conducted at the national level for admission to engineering colleges. For the MBA course, the college accepts MAT scores, while for relevant programs, GATE scores are accepted. It shows the genuine interest of the ACME in providing accessible education, for it delivers many facilities and support services throughout the students' stay in the college.
