The college library is fully automated with a facility for catalog searching, information retrieval, circulation, reservation, renewal, membership, and statistics carried out with computer assistance. It houses over 30,000 books and has a collection of current awareness and general knowledge-related materials from newspapers, periodicals, and magazines for members to access. Through the N-LIST program of INFLIBNET, staff, and students can access over 6000 e-journals and 160,800 e-books.

The college has a well-equipped departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college Auditorium cum Indoor Stadium was inaugurated on 4th March 2003. The newly developed auditorium provides a seating capacity of 1200 people and also serves as an indoor stadium with ample facility to conduct the practice of Shuttle Badminton and Volley Ball Games even during the monsoon season. Our college is equipped with two Conference Halls, a Multipurpose Hall, and an Audio-Visual Room. The well-equipped seminar halls include audio–visual aids such as Over Head Projector, Slide Projector, Television, DVD, LCD, etc.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has ‘A sound mind rests in a sound body, imbibing this great truth, students have been encouraged to take part in sports and games. The sports students are given training in the following events. Cricket, Badminton, Hockey, Taekwondo, Cycling, Shuttle, Athletics, Karate, Archery, Football, Yoga, Chess, and Weight Lifting. The students have brought laurels to the college by winning several prizes in National, State, University, and District level competitions.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

Carmel College aims to further the farsighted vision of Blessed Chavara Kuriakose Elias, the founder of the CMC, who firmly believed that if any society is to be uplifted, it is essential to educate the womenfolk and the girl child. We strive to ensure quality education and safety for our students and so, with this intent, extended hostel accommodation to the students, particularly those coming from distant places. In 1985, a double-storied hostel building with all the necessary facilities was inaugurated. A second hostel building was constructed utilizing the UGC fund and inaugurated in 2015.

The college canteen has been functioning efficiently since the beginning of the college. College Canteen serves a variety of tasty foods which are hygienically prepared and the food is provided at specially subsidized rates. The objective of the canteen is to ensure the quality of the food by preventing food adulteration and by reducing the risk of foodborne illness. Attached to the canteen, a college store also functions providing books and stationary articles to the students.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The College has Motive for the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
