The BCA Course aims at inculcating essential skills information technology and compiler application as demanded by the global software industry through interactive learning process. This also includes Team-Building Skills, Audio- Visual Presentations and Personality Development Programmes. The programme enhances analytical and communication skills besides inculcating the virtues of self-study. The programme is divided into eight semesters with two semesters in one academic year. Each semester has a working duration of about 21 weeks as per the following breakup.

Imparting of Teaching : 17 Weeks
Preparatory Leave : 1 week
Semester End Examination (including Practical) : 3 weeks

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have at least 50% (Best of 4 including English as language) in the qualifying Examination (10+2) with Maths or Computer Science / Information Practice / Computer Application / Multimedia & Web Technologies / Data Management Application / Web Application as one of the Compulsory subject.

Admission Details

Candidate should have qualified Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU) or Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for BBA & BCA courses is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) & admission as per the rules and guidelines of GGSIP University, Delhi (www.ipu.ac.in)
It is mandatory to appear in CET/CUET & qualify the same for admission GGSIP University affiliated colleges
