DME Noida Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Delhi Metropolitan Education enjoys a tie-up with Delhi Technical Campus (sister college of DME) to use their hostel facility which can cater to up to 700 students. Transport from the hostel is provided on a daily basis. Facilities in the hostel include: Separate hostels for male and female students are provided with well-furnished rooms with attached toilets. Rooms are available in single, twin sharing and triple sharing options. The hostel premises are Wi-Fi enabled. The hostels are supervised by experienced wardens who ensure resident students have a home away from home. The hostels are safe and secure, with male and female guards present around the clock. The mess provides quality and hygienic food to the resident students.

DME in view of its aims and objectives has a separate and spacious library for Law, BBA, and BJMC in its premises and is updated frequently, by not only meeting the requirements of the curriculum but also with high-quality scholarly resource materials, both in print as well as in digital formats. As of now, it has an excellent collection of textbooks, reference books and law reports covering a wide range of general and special subjects. The Rabindranath Tagore Library has adopted an open access system to assist the students and research scholars in locating their desired legal literature and other information thus making it easier for the readers to access the library resources thereby saving precious time. The library provides for e-resources and databases, Manupatra, JSTOR, HeinOnline are some noteworthy on-line sources.

The computer lab has been established to provide all DME students the opportunity to enhance their learning through the use of computers. The Lab is staffed with personnel ready to assist users with questions and assignments. Teachers conduct classes at the lab from time to time.

The canteen is situated within the DME campus. It is open for all and there is a huge and colorful separate and comfortable arrangement. All types of snacks, soft drinks, meals are available at subsidized rates. It is student’s favourite hangout zone for class discussions. A comfortable coffee shop serving a range of hygienic and delicious snacks only complements the atmosphere.

NM Auditorium At DME’s Nelson Mandela Auditorium Students get an opportunity to showcase their talents through cultural festivals and societies. DME aspires to help students develop holistically. Plenty of events are staged and guest lectures are held at this auditorium.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

To train the law students hone the courtroom skills, and conduct the Intra and Inter Moot-Court Competitions, the campus has a moot court with a capacity of 96. 

The campus also has a Gymnasium equipped with various gym equipment like horse rider station, pull chair, rowing machine rowers, sit up stations and more. Keeping the fitness of the students in mind, the DME, Noida campus facility also includes Yoga Centers or meditation rooms. 

The college has various laboratories that includes Studio 62 with capacity of 120 for practical training ground for media students. There is also an Audio Visual Lab with capacity of 40 and is used for Radio production programming as well as documentary viewing. .
