DOMS NIT Trichy Placements 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

Department of Management Studies, National Institute of Technology, Trichy has a training and placement cell to organise the placements. DoMS NIT Trichy placement cell also conducts training sessions on personality development and communication skills for students. During the placements 2023 of DoMS NIT Trichy, a total of 88 students were placed, as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 report.

• DoMS NIT Training & Placement Cell coordinates with the recruitment companies and sends an annexure to those companies and the recruiters in return need to fill all necessary information in the annexure.

• DoMS NIT Placement Cell then fixes their dates with various recruiters based on the salary packages and other eligibility criteria offered by the recruitment companies.

• Students need to register themselves with the T&P cell for the DoMS NIT placement drive along with all required documents and students satisfying all eligibility criteria will be asked to proceed further for the recruitment process.

• Recruiters will then fix dates with the DoMS NIT to visit the campus to conduct the recruitment process via various steps including Written Tests, Group discussions and Interviews. 

• Students of DoMS NIT are given pre-placement talks by different recruiting companies to make them aware of the policies, roles and job profiles offered by recruiters.

• Students need to appear and qualify for a written test classified into different sections including Quantitative aptitude, Logical and Reasoning ability, English competency, and more to test the skills and basic knowledge of DoMS NIT students.

• Students who will qualify for the written test also need to qualify for the Group Discussion on topics decided by the DoMS NIT recruiters to judge the communication and speaking skills of students. 

• After clearing the GD round, students have to go through various rounds of Interviews namely Technical Interview and HR Interview conducted by various recruiting companies to test the technical knowledge, communication skills and confidence of DoMS NIT students.

• Students qualifying for all rounds of tests and interviews are then offered job offers and DoMS NIT salary packages depending on their performance and overall academic scores in their academics.
