DRK College of Engineering and Technology (DRKCET), started its journey in the year 2006, is an existing co-educational institution in Hyderabad, Telangana. This affiliated college, recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), offers a wide courses in engineering and management. STR/ Nestled in a 3-acre campus, DRKCET has a total student enrolment of 875 with 116 faculty members only. Today, the college offers 10 courses that fall under 3 degrees with a focus on engineering and management fields.

DRK College of Engineering and Technology (DRKCET), Hyderabad, Telangana, is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH). It is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). DRK College of Engineering and Technology boasts modern learning facilities, and infrastructure as well as infrastructure and services that are designed with learners' comfort in mind. The library is a vital component of the academic process, it possesses more than 26007 volumes of text and reference books; subscription to 68 national journals; number of electronic resources. Learners interested in IT have remarkable IT facilities in DRKCET with ten modern computing laboratories, including the latest systems. The campus also has a cafeteria to feed the students, an Indoor games court also available to the students and a Gym to keep the students fit. Also, there is transport of students, and the college has a pool of 15 buses, which enhances transport for the students and staff.

DRKCET has all-round academic programmes to educate students to meet different job market needs. The institute offers ten courses in both the undergraduate and the postgraduate programmes. The undergraduate B.Tech courses that are offered include Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Data Science, and Cyber Security. At the postgraduate level, the college offers the following M.Tech courses VLSI VLSI and Embedded Systems, Structural Engineering, and Transportation Engineering.

The admission policy in DRKCET is equally and equally fair and transparent, which follows the rules and regulations of the state education. The seat allocation in B.Tech programmes happens mostly through the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). Those students who want to get into MBA programme must have to write the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET).
