Academics

I am studying Artificial intelligence and data science and its really good. The faculty is average but every college has its own pros and cons about the faculty, some are good and some are bad its mostly average.

College Infra

College Infrastructure is okayish. Nothing too good or bad about it. Its being built currently and the new infrastructure looks extremely promising. I have high hopes for it Though its placements need improvement

Placements

Placement are definitely in need of development. It doesn't look good for any branches and the packages offered are pleasing. The training and placement cell can definitely use some improvement regarding placements

One of the best college for engineering in Maharashtra.

BE Computer Engineering - Batch of 2024-01-01

Academics

The college offers B.Tech courses in branches like Computer, Mechanical, Civil, and IT. The syllabus is designed to match current industry needs, and classes are supported with labs, workshops, and seminars. Teachers are supportive and explain concepts in an easy manner. Regular tests, practicals, and projects help students to build knowledge and confidence.

College Infra

D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Pune has a big and modern campus. The classrooms are large and airy, and computer labs are updated with the latest systems. The library has many technical books, journals, and e-resources. Students also get hostel facilities with good rooms and a canteen that serves healthy meals. The campus is green and well maintained.

Campus Life

Life at D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Pune is lively and balanced. Students enjoy cultural fests, sports events, and technical competitions throughout the year. Clubs and societies allow them to explore hobbies apart from academics. The environment is friendly and ragging-free, and students from different backgrounds take part actively in activities.

Placements

The placement cell brings many companies every year. IT firms like TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini visit, along with core companies for Mechanical and Civil. About 75–80% of students get jobs through campus drives. The average package is around ₹4–5 LPA, while some students with strong skills have secured more than ₹10 LPA offers.

Value For Money

The fees for B.Tech are about ₹1.2–1.3 lakh per year, depending on the branch. Even though the fees are on the higher side, placements and career opportunities make it worth it. Many students recover their fees within the first few years of working. For those who go for higher studies, the strong academic base gives them good value for the money.

BE Computer Engineering - Batch of 2024-01-01

Academics

The Computer Science course has regular classes, labs, and exams. Teachers are supportive and explain well. Subjects are updated as per industry so students learn skills useful for jobs and career with extra curriculum activities.

College Infra

D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Pune has big classrooms with Wi-Fi, computer labs, and a library with useful books. Hostels for boys and girls are there, and the canteen gives clean and tasty food with good quality too.

Campus Life

The campus has events, sports, and cultural festivals. Students enjoy workshops and fests every year. The atmosphere is safe and friendly, with boys and girls enjoying activities together happily with great environment of campus.

Placements

Almost 70–80% of CSE students get jobs in campus drives. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini visit. The average salary is near ₹4 LPA, and top students get around ₹10 LPA packages. And from all branches placed 80% approximate..

Value For Money

B.Tech fees are about ₹1,20,000 yearly. With placements offering good jobs, the money spent is worth it. Students feel the return is fair as most recover fees quickly after getting placed, and it is very worth tbh.

can i get admission in cs with 64149 rank in jee mains. general outside maharashtra.

With 64k general category rank it's not possible to get into the computer science engineering branch in any of the nits or iiits or top engineering colleges.
