Dynamic college with vibrant campus life

Academics
Exam oriented way of coaching just helps you crack the exam. Curriculum is way to behind when it is compared to current scenario. A more practical approach is what might help to grow as a student in the engineering field.
College Infra
Though the infrastructure is good enough with most of the facilities including a football turf, the whole campus still lacks the feel of real college. Its just buildings without much place to hangout.
Campus Life
If you know how to enjoy, then this is one among the best private college in the state that gives us campus life.
Placements
Bringing in a bunch of IT companies won't help students in other streams who need jobs in core companies. The real struggle starts once you realise the options are limited. But for the others, its the best place to grab the opportunity and get placed.

Academics
i studied ECE. During my degree days, the professors mainly focused on covering the syllabus so that the students can prepare for university exams. Teachings were Ok to pass the exam, but I doubt how many of them were able to create interest in students regarding the topics they taught. I guess current curriculum which they follow now, is more relevant to today's industrial standards.
College Infra
Infrastructure is amazing. Classrooms are good with required number of desks and benches. There are good projectors in classrooms. Labs are equipped with equipment to perform exercises. Each corner of campus gets cleaned by cleaning staff regularly. Canteen food is Ok. Hostels are of good quality. Library is top notch with good amount of books and digital records. Computer labs are also amazing.
Campus Life
The college is located at Mookkannoor, few kilometers away from Angamaly, Ernakulam. There are regular bus services in that route. The place is safe and calm. Campus is mainly live during Arangu(cultural fest), Nautilus(tech fest) and Bharatam (inter college fest). Other than that, there are many clubs which conduct regular activities. Also, IEEE works are very prominent. Campus has a permanent ambulance for emergencies. Canteen is fine and there are great facilities for sports and extracurricular activities.
Placements
Placements are Ok. Some mass recruiters regularly visit the campus and many gets placed in those companies. Most of the companies come from IT industry. So there are minimal core companies which visit the campus.
Value For Money
With respect to the infrastructure, there certainly is good return for the fee paid. But coming to the ROI part, I believe its less. During my grad days, median package was around 2-3 lakhs i guess and the fee was about 90000 per year(so more than 3 lakhs for 4 years), without considering hostel/college bus expense. But I do hope its better now.

Academics
The college has great faculty who are well efficient in teaching and helping the students with all the subjects. The college is enrolled under KTU ( Kerala Technological University) and follows latest curriculum set by the university.
College Infra
FISAT has an impressive college campus with greenery and landscape. The college has all the amenities such as great labs, basketball/tennis courts, football/cricket grounds and well maintained library.
Campus Life
FISAT has a great variety of extra curricular activities and different clubs to support the same. Multiple intra and inter college fests are organised during the campus life. The college also has good support stuff and ambulance of its own to handle emergencies.
Placements
FISAT has an impressive placement cell and a lot of companies come to the campus every year with lots of opportunities. Nearly 95% students get places from the college into reputed organisations across the country with competitive package.
Value For Money
FISAT follows the fee structure as per KTU university where in the average cost for a student to study in the college for engineering is approx 3.5 - 4 lakhs for the whole duration of the course.The fee is worth considering the facilities and placements.
