GCET Jammu Facilities

Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu provides ample facilities for the students to make their college life easy. Hostels, library, sports, cafeteria, laboratories are some of the GCET Jammu facilities. GCET Jammu has separate hostels for boys and girls with the necessary facilities for the students. GCET, Jammu provides separate accommodation facilities to the girls students. Warden is available to take care of the students. All the necessary facilities are provided to the students such as a table and a chair, water cooler, geysers, etc.

Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu has a health centre inside the campus with first aid facilities.
Library
Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu library has a varied collection of books, thesis, newspapers and journals. Students can visit the library during their free time and can enjoy reading.
Sports
GECT, Jammu facilities include several indoor and outdoor sports facilities to the students such as football, basketball, table tennis, carrom, cricket, etc.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has well-equipped computer systems with the latest software and hardware installed in them. Internet facility is also available for the students and staff.
Cafeteria
The college has a cafeteria that serves healthy and hygienic to students, staff and faculty members. It is the best place for the students to enjoy their meals and to spend leisure time with their friends.
Transport Facility
A transport facility is available for the students and staff so that they can travel between the college and the city. Buses ply to all the nearby locations in the city.
Laboratories
Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu facilities also include laboratories for each department. Students can visit the laboratories to gain practical knowledge.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is pretty average. It is built on large acres of land and there is just so much left untouched. The building's exteriors are good but the walls inside are just average with a lot of wear and tear in almost all the places. There are multiple labs for everything required, but the computers are slow.

College Infrastructure

In my college laboratories are well maintained and clean. There are smart boards present in every class. Food in canteen is not that much hygienic. Network here is poor. Sports centre is not so good. Hostels are maintained.

College Infrastructure

In my college facilities are available. Sports equipments are not so good. Students bring their own equipments to play. Smart boards are also present in the classroom. Libraries and laboratiries are well maintained.
