Government Medical College, Amritsar provides certain facilities to the students and staff of the college including library, cafeteria, laboratories, medical facility etc. Detailed description on the facilities are mentioned below.

Library- The library of Government Medical College, Amritsar has a huge collection of books, journals, magazines etc to provide necessary information to students regarding their academics and to faculty regarding any relevant subject they search for. Other facilities like photocopying and reading room are also available inside the library. The library also has an e-journal facility available called HSLIBNET to provide easy access to information for students.
Cafeteria- The cafeteria of Government Medical College, Amritsar serves quality food and snacks to the students and staff of the college. All the meals and snacks that are served are prepared keeping hygiene and quality in mind.
Medical Facility- The institute provides health care facilities to the students and faculty 24X7. Trained medical officers are there to provide any kind of medical aid in case of any emergency.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is poor as lecture theatre doesn't have enough capacity to accommodate all the students and they are constructing new building for lt but don't know when will it get completed and also hostel infrastructure is really very poor when it comes to girls hostel

College Infrastructure

Wifi is available and all the students can access the free wifi. Liabraries contain all the new to old edition text books . Not only text books but also popular novels, tamil literature and all the other categories are available. Hotels are of great maintenance and students are so much comfortable.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure needs to be amped up in the institute. Much of the practical equipment is being provided to students by teachers themselves. Which is really not the best thing u wanna see in a government run college
