Master of Arts (MA) in History is a two-year full-time postgraduate degree course offered by Panjab University, Chandigarh.


Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Conditions for M.A. 1st Semester
Admission to the above will be open to students with
I. 45% in B.A. I, II, &III in the particular subject. OR
ii. 50% in aggregate. OR
iii. Any other equivalent examination declared so by the PU, Chd.
iv. Master’s degree examination in any other subject.
*Students will be offered options available in college.

Eligibility Conditions for M.A. 2nd, 3rd & 4th Semester
Persons who have passed one of the following examinations are eligible to join 2nd 3rd, & 4th semester:
(i) Semester Ist, IInd and IIIrd examination in the subject offered from the college.
(ii) Semester Ist, IInd and IIIrd examination in the subject offered from Kurukshetra/ Punjabi/ Guru Nanak Dev/ Maharishi Daya Nand/ Himachal Pradesh University provided he/she offered the same papers as are available at this University.
