B.Tech Civil Engineering - Batch of 2016-01-01

Academics

Teachers are qualified and supportive, but curriculum is bit outdated as per AKTU syllabus. Practical training needs improvement. Classes run from 9 AM to 4 PM with tutorials and assignments. Faculty helps with projects, but more hands-on work needed.

College Infra

The campus is big, with 29.4 acres and modern labs. Classrooms are spacious but no AC, which is tough in summers. Library is good with many books. Hostels are decent, but toilets need better cleaning. Sports facilities and cafeteria are nice.

Campus Life

Campus is green and lively with fests, sports, and clubs. Anti-ragging measures are strict. Hostels have Wi-Fi but food is average. Events like technical and cultural fests are fun. City is bit far so campus life is main attraction.

Placements

Placement cell brings companies like TCS, Wipro. Civil engineering placements are low, less than 50% get core jobs. Average package is 3-4 LPA, highest 24 LPA. Training for interviews is provided, but core companies are few for civil branch.

Value For Money

Fees is around 1.84-2.45 lakhs, reasonable for private college. Scholarships available for good students. Placements for civil not great, so ROI is average. Infrastructure and faculty are decent, but better core job offers would make it worth more.

Overall review is bad for this college.

Academics

Academics of this college are not top notch. This college has very low ranking in aktu university. Placements in Hindustan college are also not good, it has average package of 4 lakhs per annum which is bad.

College Infra

Infrastructure of this is not soo good, toilets are not very clean but they are usable, classes in Hindustan college doesn't have air conditioners in classes which makes hard for students to survive in summers.

Placements

The quality of placements in Hindustan college is bad, not each and every student is placed, they have very low average annual package placements offers which is around 4 lakhs per annum. And that is bad.

It would help my juniors to get into best collegge

Academics

Teaching quality is great with experienced teachers .Teachers are also friendly. They help us in studies and also provide well structured notes. They are concerned about our future. We are happy with teaching quality

College Infra

Classes are spacious and benches are comfortable and the environment is also good. Libraries sport centres and classrooms are well managed. Students are happy and comfortable throught day hours with the infrastructure

Placements

Placement record of our college is decent. More than 50% of the students get placed every year. The highest package offered by our college was above 15LPA. The process is easy and supports students efficaciously.

Suggest me better college kiet and Hindustan college

KIET is far better than Hindustan engineering college. KIET has better placement and academic records than Hindustan Engineering College. Hindustan College is a part of larger group of institution.
