IDC IIT Bombay has an Auditorium facility for all the events and seminars with a seating capacity of 120 is used for conducting courses, seminars, and workshops.
Laboratories
The college has laboratories in addition to the studios to facilitate research in specific areas. The Ergonomics Laboratory conducts research in a man-machine relationship. A variety of products and machines can be evaluated here for ergonomic appropriateness. Further information regarding Ergonomics Lab. The Usability Laboratory has facilities for conducting studies and evaluation of the user-centered design. The Rapid Prototyping Laboratory has facilities for making physical objects directly from CAD models. The FDM (RP) machine is available for experimentation and product development in partnership with the Mechanical Engineering Department at IIT Bombay.

hello i have little confusion that industrial design center and iit Bombay is same institute or different as they both are gives chances for addmission for b.des.and if they are different then ,then allow different method to apply for b.des course.

Industrial design center is a part of IIT, Bombay.The admission in B.Des is based on UCEED merit.So candidates who qualify in UCEED 2020 can apply through a common application form which will be available in IIT, Bombay admission portal.
