It was founded in 2007 and is situated in Ibrahimpatnam, Hyderabad, Telangana; Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Technology popularly known as JNIT. Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Technology, JNIT Hyderabad is a multi gender institute recognized by the University Grants Commission and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Located at Outer Ring Road Junction on the Nagarjuna Sagar Highway, JNIT is dedicated to the education of technologists by providing the following programs: The institute has developed faculty strength with 86 dedicated professional teaching faculty members to impart quality technical education.

JNIT Hyderabad got Multi-Discipline facility that adds values on the all round enhancing learning process of its students. A modern library with a rich stock of books, magazines, newspapers encourages students and professors to know more & research more. Especially for those who like sports and fitness, the institute provides sports amenities in order for the students to balance their academics and their physical activities. The IT facilities at JNIT Auditor that make sure students are more equipped in terms of computer and information technology. An area is offered through taking a cafeteria so that the students may have a place where they can sit and interact in case they have some free time between their classes. The institute also boasts of an auditorium specifically used in the conducting of academic as well as cultural activities.
