College Infrastructure

As a Robotics and Automation Engineering student at Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology, I find the infrastructure well-suited for our technical growth. The department labs are equipped with essential automation tools, including PLC kits, SCADA systems, and IoT kits by Rexroth (Bosch). These facilities were incredibly helpful for me to understand the practical side of automation before I started my internship at Meera Laser Solutions. The campus is spacious and greenery-filled, located right on the GST Road, which makes it accessible. The library is well-stocked with reference books and e-journals that support our academic research. The college also has KIMS (Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences) inside the campus, so medical facilities are available 24/7, which is a huge plus. The transport facility covers key areas like Chennai and Chengalpattu, making the commute easier for day scholars

The classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with necessary teaching aids. Laboratories are modern, properly maintained, and furnished with updated equipment that supports practical learning.The library at KVCET is a major strength, offering a wide collection of books, journals, and digital resources that help students in academics and research. The campus is clean and green, creating a peaceful atmosphere for study. Facilities such as seminar halls, computer labs, hostel accommodations, and sports amenities are adequately provided and well maintained.

My experience at KVCET has been positive and enriching.

College Infrastructure

Laboratory facilities are properly equipped and help students gain practical knowledge. The campus is clean and has good basic amenities such as drinking water, restrooms, and seating areas. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academic and extracurricular activities effectively. However, further improvements in digital facilities and maintenance in certain areas would enhance the overall student experience.
