The Computer Science & Engineering & IT Department of Ramoti Devi Institute of Engineering aims at bridging the gap between the vast resources of information and the student's eagerness to acquire knowledge. The faculty forms the nerve of the department. We are fortunate to be led by a well trained and highly motivating teaching staff. In addition to the teaching assignments, some faculty members are engaged in research work which is actively supported by the college. Experts from the industry are frequently invited to conduct seminars on topics on various subjects, to keep the students abreast with the latest developments in the industry. The college in its attempt cope up with the rapid growth in the IT industry offers IT programme. The courses are designed with a focus on theory that goes hand in hand with practicals. The curriculum includes major topics such as information system analysis and design, Database management systems, Object oriented analysis and design, Network programming, Software Engineering and individual project-work. For meeting the requirements of the students spacious lecture halls and well equipped laboratories have been set up. Well qualified staff guide the students to bring out the best in them.
