College infrastructure is not in good condition it's buildings need major repair and some but theri is not sign of repair in college building over all sgsits college need a very urgent repair in infrastructure.
Academics is quite good in sgsits . But they are very strict also and there is always a academic pressure like completing assignments, preparing for test and exams etc .it's is quite difficult to maintain balance.
Placement are quite impressive in sgsits. Average Placement is higher in all branch as compair to other colleges . Core Placement are also quite impressive may company like LNT, Adani, ultra tech ect are come for recruitment.
Current it is not value for money because college fees is now are in higher side which creature a mental pressure on both students and parents .
Campus is quite smaller around 40 to 45 acer .And campus also need major repair like in play ground, building etc. Campus need a major upgrade .
In current situation sgsits indore is not worth it at all because college fees are in higher side ,infrastructure is not good as much we want academic is on higher side which is quite good for placement no doubt placement is on positive side .
The infrastructure of my college needs significant improvement. Although the college has basic facilities, many areas are not properly maintained. The classrooms are not cleaned regularly. It needs to be improved.
The academic environment of my college is well organized and supportive of student learning. The college follows a structured curriculum that helps students gain both theoretical knowledge and good for students.
The placement opportunities in my college are quite good, especially for the Computer Science and Information Technology branches. The college has a dedicated placement cell that actively works to connect students with reputed companies.
The college also supports students through training programs, seminars, and placement preparation activities, especially for professional courses like Computer Science and Information Technology. These opportunities help students improve their skills without requiring additional expensive coaching outside the campus. Although some infrastructural facilities need improvement, the academic learning, exposure, and degree value compensate for these limitations.
My college life is going well, filled with learning, friendships, new experiences, and personal growth. Each day helps me gain confidence, skills, and memories for the future.
Decent infrastructure but some buildings are too old and needs constructions and toilets also decent if u not have so much of hygiene issue, most of things are donate by alumini for the clg infrastructure
Academic is not updated related to new technologies and most give perotries to the theories as compare to practical or real life examples they follow useless Academic schedule which is not suitable for today's generation
In pervious year's this college have different values and now a days it is totally different, most of the companies are not interested for sgsits students, some companies are given very low packages to the most of the students
For me it is a option of choice if you have no choice then take admission in this college otherwise go for the better option if you have, don't waste your time ,efforts ,career here try to save your energy and to do something else
Campus life is depends on your pier group if your group have mature people then it is good for everyone but everyone here so selfish, they only think about them self ,they avoid to talk but pretend to be very nice
Currently I am in 2nd year and o experience that academic is decent on the skills pint of view, it's an avg clg pn the point of view of skills, now a days placement is also avg. Talking about hostel it's decent.
Academic is decent, college focus more on theory either skills. I guess college can do more good, if they more focused on skills and practical knowledge. Yes do focus academics too, if your cgpa is low, you are unable to sit in interview.
Some previous year ago placement records are good, but since few years it's average placement. There is no companies for core branches especially machjical branch. Nowadays cse and it branch only perform good in placement.
From 2025 fees is going to high, it's not worth as college taking fees. If college improve and reduce fees. It's worth it and you can or will money enough money from this college. It's decent if you are self focused.
Campus is good for full of greenery. But some buildings are too old and like talking about some building of their roof are cracked and benches are too damaged. On the point of view greenery it's good, but some building needs to construct.
Join college if you are self focused, and able to learn skills ourselves. If you depend on college to get placement, it's high chance you are not cracking job. Do focus on self study not depend on college.
The college has a well-maintained campus with spacious classrooms, a good library, and adequate lab facilities. The classrooms are clean and equipped with necessary teaching tools. The library offers a decent collection of books and study space. However, some areas like the cafeteria and sports facilities could be improved. Overall, the infrastructure is quite good for academic and extracurricular activities, supporting a positive learning environment for students.
The academic environment at my college is strong and focused. The faculty are knowledgeable and often available for doubt clearing outside class. The syllabus is updated and covers essential topics. Regular assessments help us stay on track. Though sometimes the pace is fast, overall the teaching standards are good and emphasis is given to both theory and practical learning.
The placement support at my college is satisfactory. The Placement Cell works actively to provide internship and job opportunities by organizing campus drives and skill-building sessions. A few top companies visit every year, though the number of high-paying placements could improve. Many students secure internships through the cell, which helps gain real-world experience. However, overall placement numbers and average packages are moderate, and students must prepare well to benefit.
I feel this college offers good value for money. The tuition fees are reasonable considering the quality of education, learning opportunities, and exposure the college provides. The overall experience — from academics to extracurricular activities — justifies the expenses.
The environment on campus is lively and friendly, with plenty of opportunities to interact with fellow students. There are regular events, cultural activities, and student clubs that keep the atmosphere active and help build strong social connections. The college organizes various festivals, competitions, and group activities, which make student life more fun and engaging. The support from seniors and staff adds to a comfortable and welcoming experience.
The infrastructure of SGSITS is well-developed and caters to the extracurricular needs of students. The workshop facilities are also excellent, helping students gain hands-on experience in their field.
Academics at SGSITS are well-structured and focused on building foundation in both theoretical and practical skills. Professors are highly qualified, approachable, and dedicated to helping students grasp complex concepts.
Placements at SGSITS are one of the key strengths of the institute, offering students good opportunities in both the core engineering and IT sectors. Many well-known recruiters visit the campus every year.
The college has good infrastructure. Classrooms are clean and spacious. Labs have all the important tools and systems. The library has a good number of books and a peaceful space to study. The campus is well-maintained and has Wi-Fi in most areas.
Teachers are well-qualified and explain things in an easy way. They are friendly and ready to help if you have doubts. Notes and study material are also shared on time. The teaching quality is good, and most subjects are covered properly.
Placements are good here. Many companies visit the campus for hiring. Students from different branches get placed. Some get high packages, and most get decent starting jobs. If you work on your skills, it’s easy to get placed through campus drives.
The college infrastructure is good but not best they lack in cleanliness and some other stuff the classroom have air conditioner they have well built buildings and seminar halls we also have some great labs and library for students
Teachers and professors are the core strength of this college the academics are well updated with modern day syllabus the study focuses on overall development including the most importantly making job ready
The placement club in always active for bringing companies for drives with a good package we are made industry ready and our marks are being monitored by the professors which help us in placement drives
Infrastructure wise college is average. As it is one of the oldest colleges in Madhya Pradesh that is quite relevant as well. But most of the important building and infrastructure is well in place and basic amenities are available to use.
Academic wise its a good college, I would say a legacy it has which it has formed from 1952. Curriculum is good and branch wise they have good professors all well advanced in their field of study and passionate about teaching.
This college is known for its placements and the relationship it has formed with big mnc's and companies over the time, so yes the placement quality is really good but it is more inclined towards branches like CS and IT.
Yes this college is definitely value for money. Fees were very nominal when I was studying there and the placements that we get are also very good. That's we look for right the ROI we get from the college, Study wise anyways its good.
Campus life is very happening with lots of clubs and event going on around the year and many competition to take part in along with your batchmates and seniors. Its quite an amazing experience to be honest and i really enjoyed it.
Yes, the college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments for sports, health and other utilities. The infrastructure is renewed at regular intervals. The classrooms are not smart, but the teaching pedagogy is! Also the campus is clean and the services provided are hygienic.
I studied Industrial and Production engineering from SGSITS and it is one of the top engineering colleges in MP. The teaching pedagogy and the faculties are so talented that its very easy to clear all concepts in one go. The curriculum is also updated and new subjects are added as per the growing needs of the world. The curriculum makes the students Industry ready which helps in the placements.
Everybody opting for the Placements usually get placed. The placements are really good. Around 90-95% of the students who opted for the placements were placed with decent roles. Average salary differs to the various branches but the Highest packages cross the mark of 35 Lpa and lowest is around 4.5 Lpa. The placement process is transparent and TPO is so supportive to all the students.
The total cost was around Rs 3 lacs which is so affordable for the students. Joinig the college is worth every penny spared.
Campus life is so good, the location of the campus is accessible to every amenities of the city, there are clubs and committees for all kind of activities that are student driven providing every possible experience of a degree school.
The college is overall good and students and opt for it.
Dear
According to the latest information, the cutoff for SGSITS Indore for the OBC category in JEE Main 2024 is around 26641 - 279444 for various branches. With a percentile of 70.83, your rank might be on the lower side for securing a seat in popular branches like ECE.
But
Hi
hope you doing well
While having a score of JEE Mains rank of 270,271 and Madhya Pradesh as your home state, getting a seat in Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), Indore can be challenging for the highly sought-after branches like CSE, IT, and ECE. However,
Hello student,
Transferring from IGEC Sagar to SGSITS Indore or JEC Jabalpur involves several considerations, including the CGPA required, availability of seats, and the specific transfer policies of each institution. Here’s a general overview:
