Good return for money. Good return for time is subjective

    Academics

I think this totally depends on which department you plan on joining. For journalism we only have MAC and DCAC that provide Journalism in a co-ed setup. Rest are all for girls. The professors are willing to guide the ones who show interest, but you’ll be doing a lot of learning on your own end.

    College Infra

Compared to other colleges of DU, MAC has great infrastructure. The campus is zero waste and always clean. It has one of the biggest grounds in Delhi. The washrooms are ample, however can be a little more cleaner (that’s a thing with all public washrooms, ig it’s more about the people using them) There’s hostel facility available for girls, botany park, open cafeteria, a very decent auditorium, smart rooms, in door gym, basketball court and some other such amenities.

    Campus Life

There are many ECA clubs, sports team and other departmental societies that organise regular events. You can join them for exposure.

    Placements

We have a TPC at our college and other than that even a circle of Alumini try and provide internships or placements. But there is no guaranteed placements or internships, you’ll have to work on it yourself.

    Value For Money

It sure is. The fees is minimal, plus there are scholarships too.

    Academics

I am currently pursuing journalism, and our college especially excels in teaching subject relating to mass communication. All teachers are great at their work, and the syllabus consists of topics that are very relevant in the current scenario, but the practical knowledge needs more upgradation, as there is a low practical approach towards studies.

    College Infra

Maharaja Agrasen College has a great infrastructure, especially for the journalism department, consisting of a separate media lab for practical knowledge as well as labs to an auditorium, and everything is in a great condtion additionally you get a good infrastructure for co-scholastic activities, such as sports equipment and separate areas for various sports, such as football, cricket, etc.

    Campus Life

Relative to my experience in the campus io would say college provides you a great environment where teachers are welcoming, also you can engage in multiple activities from conferences to societies which provide you with great opportunities to showcase your talent. Also, the college has students from all over india making it easy for everyone to adjust and find comfort

    Placements

The quality of placement depends upon the course you choose, but the college has relatively low opportunities of placement, but teachers generally share constant job and internship opportunities based on the capabilities of students.

    Value For Money

The fees for journalism are around 20k per annum, which is a pretty good amount for a course like journalism, and I believe we get value for money as you are getting all the required facilities along with good guidance from the teachers.
