JNU Delhi Admission Process
Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi admissions are available for diploma, undergrdauate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Jawaharlal Nehru University admissions are offered to eligible candidates based in the merit of entrance examination. For JNU admission, candidates are required to appear for the CUET-UG entrance examination for undergraduate courses, the CUET-PG entrance examination for PG courses and the entrance examination conducted by the university for the PhD course. Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi considers UCEED scores for admissions.
JNU Delhi admission to the B.Tech programmes is through JEE Main score and JoSAA counselling. The JNU admissions to the MCA programme are done based on the merits of the CBT exam conducted by the university. Candidates can apply for courses at JNU Delhi through the official website of the admission portal of the university. Candidates have to fill out the application form and submit it along with the application fees through the university’s official website.
JNU Delhi Application Process 2025
- Register for the CUET/JEE Main entrance examination on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- Then, visit the admission portal of the university and register with the required details
- Fill out the online application form and submit it along with the required documents and application fee.
- Once you are shortlisted, attend the counselling session.
- Pay the admission fee and complete the other admission formalities.
JNU Delhi Login Details
To log into the student portal, candidates must visit the student portal website: jnu.ac.in/user/login. After that, candidates must enter their username, and their password and click on ‘Login’. JNU Delhi Login portal includes academic details, fees, admission status and many other details.
JNU Delhi UG Course Admission 2025
The university offers a total of 14 courses at the undergraduate level. JNU Delhi UG courses are B.A. Hons and B.Tech-M.Tech Integrated programmes. The duration of these courses ranges from 3 to 5 years. Admission to JNU Delhi B.Tech courses is based on JEE Main scores and JoSAA counselling.

- Firstly, candidates have to fulfil the JNU Delhi UG eligibility criteria required for the course.
- Then apply for the course through the CUET-UG examination’s website.
- Appear and qualify for the CUET-UG entrance examination.
- Candidates must meet the JNU Delhi UG cutoff to be eligible for further admission process.
- Applicants clearing the cutoff must register for JNU Delhi UG admission on the university’s admission portal.
- The university will release merit lists on the basis of CUET-UG scores of the candidates.
- Selected candidates must submit their documents for verification along with the course fees.
JNU Delhi B.Tech/M.Tech Admission Process
- Eligible candidates must register for the JEE Main examination, conducted by the NTA.
- Appear and qualify for the examination with a valid score.
- Qualified candidates must register for the JoSAA counselling.
- JNU Delhi will release the cutoff list for B.Tech admission to the university.
- Candidates falling in the JNU Delhi JEE Main cutoff rank must give preference to the university for admission.
- Once selected, visit the respective department for document verification.
- After the due verification of documents, pay the course fees.
JNU Delhi PG Course Admission 2025
The university offers various courses at the postgraduate level. JNU Delhi PG courses include M.A., M.Sc, M.Tech, M.C.A., M.P.H. and Post Graduate Diploma programmes. The duration of these courses ranges from one to two years. Admission to the postgraduate courses is through CUET-PG scores.

The university offers a total of 65 courses at the doctoral level which includes the PhD courses in different specialisations. The duration of these courses is 3 to 6 years. JNU PhD admissions are based on the entrance examination conducted by the NTA.

- Apply for the Computer-Based entrance examination for PhD courses on the official website of the NTA.

- Candidates must apply for the course through the official website of the university.
- Qualified candidates have to appear for the viva-voca round.

JNU New Delhi Counselling
The university conducts counselling sessions for admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Candidates must fill out the online application form. Seats will be allotted on the basis of performance in the entrance examination and cutoff marks criteria. For JNU Delhi B.Tech admission, candidates must apply for the JoSSA counselling. The counselling will be held in online mode. The counselling session will comprise seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

It is considered as one of the premiere institutes for reasearch and international relations and offers various programs in different domains in masters and phd. There are well educated faculty and provides rigorous curriculum for studies.
College Infra
The campus is large and green with a strong library and good academic facilities. Hostel quality is mixed, with older ones needing renovation. It has a separate environment from the rush of city and feels like a free environment.

JNU Delhi has a decent placement record, with top companies like Amazon, Google, IBM, and Accenture recruiting students. Campus life of Jawaharlal Nehru College is nice when you see the college and the canteen it's amazing there are many canteen in college I think 7 to 8 they have they are very hygiene and they provides fresh food

Placement of Jawaharlal Nehru College is average many companies come to college to hier and the minimum package is starting to 12 lakh goes to 20 lakh and personally I like the placement of this college
