National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Calicut Facilities

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Calicut provides many facilities for the comfort of the students and staff on campus. The NIELIT Calicut facilities include hostels, medical facilities, sports, a library, a cafeteria and an auditorium. The medical Library of NIELIT Calicut has a collection of books, journals and other resources on various subjects. The NIELIT Calicut facilities include a medical/hospital which provides the service in case of emergencies.

Boys Hostel
There are three Hostels each for men. The total capacity of all the Hostels, currently available, is about 250. Out of the 3 Hostels for men, 2 are 3 seated, and MH4 (Faculty Hostel) is 2 seated. As far as possible, the students of the same batch are accommodated in the same Hostel.
Girls Hostel
There are three Hostels each for women. The total capacity of all the Hostels, currently available, is about 250. 2 are 3 seated, and MH4 (Faculty Hostel) is 2 seated. The Hostels for women have 3 seated rooms, with a total capacity of about 70 students. As far as possible, the students of the same batch are accommodated in the same Hostel.
Library
The Library and Information Centre exists in 275 square feet area and has an excellent collection of Books, Journals, and other documents dealing with the latest topics in various fields of Engineering, Computer Science, and Management. The collection is completely computerized and is being converted into a Digital Library, which is in progress. The Library and Information Centre holds the following.
Sports
The college has sports facilities for all students.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Cafeteria
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Wifi
The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
Laboratories
The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
Alumni Associations
The college has good networking for the alumni association.
Medical/Hospital
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

College Infrastructure

Great infrastructure which will train the student capable to work in industry without much additional trainings. Real hardwires are available in labs for doing the and boards and licenses are available to do almost all labs

College Infrastructure

Good lab facilities with knowledgeful support staff. Unique style building, good library. Projectors in class room which has got updated to smart boards later. Not much place and time for sports. Hostel was around 1 Km away.

College Infrastructure

Good infrastructure with very good labs, also has better smart classes has very resourceful libraries The hygiene is of top class each and every part of the college is cleaned every day has a good wifi and very good hostels
