Academics
I pursued B.Com because I’ve always had an interest in finance, business, and accounting. The subjects are well-structured—covering everything from financial accounting, business law, and economics to taxation and auditing.
The quality of teaching is quite good overall. Most professors are knowledgeable and explain topics in a simple, relatable manner.
College Infra
Nirmala College, Ranchi has a peaceful and green campus that makes it feel more like a place to focus and grow, rather than just attend classes. The buildings are old but well-maintained. Classrooms are generally spacious, clean, and well-
ventilated, though not all are high-tech — only a few have smart boards or projectors. Still, it’s more than enough for regular classes.
The library is quiet, and has a solid collection of books, especially useful during exam season. Wi-Fi is available on campus, but the speed can be inconsistent at times.
Campus Life
The college campus is peaceful, green, and well-maintained. It gives off a calm and focused academic vibe. The best thing about the campus is its neat environment, clean classrooms, and well-equipped library. There’s a sense of discipline and safety, especially for girls, since the campus is quite secure.The auditorium and seminar halls are used for various events like guest lectures, cultural programs.The worst part of the campus is probably the canteen — it’s small and has limited food options. Also, while the campus is clean and green, it lacks modern hangout spots or a strong sports infrastructure.
Placements
The placement cell is structured and actively works to prepare students through mock interviews, group discussions, webinars, and aptitude training.
The average package for B.Com students is quite low — around ₹2.5 to ₹3 LPA, and the highest package rarely crosses ₹4.5 LPA for commerce students. A few companies like Wipro, Concentrix, and ICICI Bank do visit occasionally.
Value For Money
The tuition cost for B.Com (General/Hons.) at Nirmala College, Ranchi is approximately ₹18,600 per year for General/OBC and ₹17,850 for SC/ST students .

Academics
Academics are good. Teachers are good and the curriculum is well set according to modern times. Teachers always support the students and provides them with good knowledge. The study culture is very good here.
College Infra
The infrastructure of this college is quite good. There are canteens inside the college campus. Hostel facilities are very good. Well equipped labs are there inside the campus. Also a very good library is inside the college.
Campus Life
Before coming to LPU for post graduation, I did my BCA at this college and I think that the kind of life I've lived at this college is very good. I feel very happy to be a part of this college. It's campus life was good and I enjoyed a lot there doing different stuff.
Placements
Placements are not much good. The average package is nearly 2-3 lpa which can be improved in order for students to get higher packages. The rate of placements is average because most of the students accept the recruitment even at lower packages.
Value For Money
The university is good in overall perspective. There are labs and other facilities which are good for a local college to have. Fees is not much and even after being a local college, placements are also provided here. Overall I think I got the value of my money when I graduated from here.

Academics
I have pursued English honours from the college and the faculty for the same had very good teaching pedagogy. The curriculum followed had standard notations and included backgrounds of various country's literature. The curriculum majorly focused on imparting knowledge regarding different eras and forms of literature which included novellas, poems, fictions and also it delved into deeper segments of knowledge.
College Infra
The infrastructure of the college is very good in terms of accomodation of students as the faculty needs to accomodate a large number of students into the classes and the structure and space area was quite good too.The college also had laboratories and library and working space for studying,also it provides facility for computer cell.The campus not only had cemented buildings and classrooms but also had greenery covering the campus area.The planted trees and gardening are well maintained.
Campus Life
The campus life was pretty good as from the point of view of a student the expectations were fulfilled of gaining quality knowledge. After from academics extra - curriculars were also organised showcase one's talent and polish up the skills. The locality of the college is also safe, there were guards employed for the safety of the students.
Placements
The college provides placements for BBA, BCA and B.com(hon)courses.Current salary of recent graduates is generally lower than the current salary of students who graduated in previous batches as mentioned in the website of the institute.
Value For Money
The fee structure is very affordable as compared to various other colleges around the area that offers the same courses. The students thus had the opportunity to save money and register it into other various internships and skill development programs.
