Panimalar Institute of Technology, Chennai Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a Gents hostel spread over a total area of 22,000 sq. ft. It has 88 rooms which can accommodate 3 students per room. PIT Chennai hostel rooms are furnished with cots, cupboards, and other furniture. It has a computer centre with 66 computers and 2 servers. 

PIT Chennai hostels have an STD/ISD facility, a specially equipped fitness centre, and a computer centre that has 30 computers, and 2 servers with the internet. Game courts like basketball, kho-kho, throwball, Tennikoit, Shuttle, and Kabadi are also available. 

PIT Chennai medical services are available 24/7 on campus. Students and faculty are provided with first-aid treatment and all the required medical treatments within the campus and serious cases can be transferred to the nearest hospital.

PIT Chennai gym facilities are available for all the students. PIT Chennai gym facilities are easily accessible and all the students are given proper guidance to use gym equipment to train safely.

PIT Chennai Library is air-conditioned and has a huge seating capacity. It has about 29556 volumes and 7382 titles of books that value around Rs. 1.44 Crores. In addition, to which, the library also subscribes to 154 International and National journals and periodicals

PIT Chennai also has sports amenities for students. PIT Chennai sports facilities allow students to participate in various games and physical education activities to be mentally and physically fit.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

PIT Chennai also has a cafeteria which serves all time meals to students and faculty both. PIT Chennai cafeteria makes sure the canteen is hygienic and everyone is getting healthy food.

PIT Chennai auditorium is fully ventilated and is available with a huge seating capacity. All the events like seminars, lectures, and annual occasion events are celebrated there.

The college has 50 buses that travel from various places including suburbs to the college making it convenient for the students and staff to reach the college well on time. On the return journey also, the buses take the staff and students back home so that the academic preparation for the next day can be done fast.

The college has good networking for the Alumni association.

PIT Chennai has departmental-based laboratories for all the students. All the laboratories are well-equipped and students are taught regularly with a practical approach.

The college campus provides an ATM facility for the benefit of students and staff members. It enables them to withdraw and access cash in a quick and convenient way.

The College Every effort has been made to provide a congenial ambiance to the students and staff. Many students in and around Tamil Nadu stay in the Institute’s hostel and study here. So it is well and good if a homely atmosphere is provided to them. The mess facility is also one such.

The college also provides good classroom facilities for all the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
