Raghu Engineering College, Visakhapatnam has a boys’ hostel within the institute premises. The institute provides hygienic hostel accommodation to students. REC Visakhapatnam boys’ hostel has a capacity of 700 beds with both AC and non-AC categories. The facilities available in the hostel include Wi-Fi, RO drinking water, round the clock security, availability of qualified doctors, indoor games, a gymnasium and an uninterrupted power supply.

REC Visakhapatnam has a girls’ hostel within the campus. The institute provides hygienic girls’ hostel accommodation to students. The girls’ hostel has a capacity of 300 beds. The hostel is administered by the chief warden and aided by an assistant warden. Wi-Fi, RO drinking water, round the clock security, availability of qualified doctors, indoor games, a gymnasium and an uninterrupted power supply are some of the facilities available in the hostel. 

Raghu Engineering College, Visakhapatnam has a gymnasium within the institute premises for the physical fitness of its students. Separate gymnasiums for boys and girls are available at the institute. The gyms assist students in being physically and emotionally relaxed.

Raghu Engineering College, Visakhapatnam has a library,  fully air-conditioned and well-equipped to support and facilitate the teaching, learning and research programmes of the institute. The library is equipped with a huge collection of the latest books, CDs/DVDs and research publications. The library at REC is open to all students and faculty members. REC Visakhapatnam library also includes books, monographs, research reports, back volumes of periodicals etc. The library provides a good amount of leisure reading and books for soft skills development. The library accommodates book circulation, newspapers, periodicals, a digital library, a printing facility and a stack area. REC Visakhapatnam library has a well-established e-learning resource centre with the latest computers.

Raghu Engineering College, Visakhapatnam has spacious playgrounds, the institute encourages sports and games such as cricket, volleyball, basketball, kho-kho, lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton, kabaddi, handball, football, throw-ball and athletics etc. The institute includes dedicated facilities and play areas for a variety of games and sports.

In order to maintain the goodwill and to establish rapport amongst the peers, faculty and their juniors, Raghu Institute of Technology has formally inaugurated the Alumni Association in 2014 in college premises Dakamarri (Vill), Bheemunipatnam (Mandal). Dr. R. Kameswara Rao, the principal of the institution officially declared the association OPENS.

REC Visakhapatnam is a Wi-Fi enabled campus. Students and faculty members can access the facility at any time from anywhere inside the campus.

REC Visakhapatnam has well-equipped air-conditioned laboratories available in each department with all necessary equipment and software.
