24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification, equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
The minimum and upper age limits required for selection of candidates to the 2 years B. Ed. established in both Govt. as well as private sector will be between 17-40 years, Or as prescribed by the state Government from time to time. The upper age limit shall be relaxable by Five Years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/IRD categories only. There will be no age limit for the candidates belonging to the category of Ex-servicemen.
Admission Details
Admission Shall be Made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
