Shri PD Patil College of Engineering, Paldhi, was established in 2006 and is one of the prominent educational institutions in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. This is a co-educational affiliated college that has approval from AICTE, New Delhi, indicating compliance with quality education in the field of engineering. The institute lies adjacent to North Maharashtra University and is situated in a very strategic location for fresh engineers. Shri PD Patil College of Engineering has been crucifying the future of engineering students with technical education for more than a decade and a half.

The institute has provided several facilities to the students to enhance the learning experience. The library is the knowledge center and provides the students with abundant academic resources and reference books of importance for their studies. The college's IT infrastructure, equipped with computer labs for the latest technology, enables students to have hands-on experience with it. Further, the institution houses multiple departmental laboratories that equip students with hands-on training to aid practical learning about engineering-related concepts. All these facilities enable both theoretical and practical exposure to students about the concepts of the field under which they are studying.

Shri PD Patil College of Engineering offers an assortment of different streams under the engineering course as well. All of its streams function on a full-time basis. Currently there are four types of B.Tech programs available to be undertaken, each course taking four years. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Engineering. Every program has an approved intake of 60 students, which speaks for the policy of maintaining an optimum student-faculty ratio for effective learning by the institution. Also, the same intake in all programs reflects the balanced approach of the college towards the different streams of engineering with offering a wide choice to students to follow their aptitude.
