Smt Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture, Nagpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college runs a hostel which is located on the beautiful campus at seminary hills. It provided accommodation to around 200 girl students with all basic facilities. The hostel has the main garden in the front and a canteen in the near vicinity. The hostel has extensive sports facilities for outdoor games like badminton, throw ball, basketball, etc. The mess of the hostel provides vegetarian meals, snacks, and tea.

The College Brain Gym encourages and nurtures creative thinking in students as well as teachers through many experimental art and design activities. In Brain Gym, students and teachers both get to flex their creative muscles through these various playful hands-on activities. The display area of the Brain Gym is located right above the workshop area, which is the heart of Brain Gym; where most of the experimentation is carried out.

The college has a well-equipped library apart from the two centralized libraries shared with the parent institute - LAD College. One centralized library of LAD College is situated on the same campus which has more than 20,000 books. Another library is situated in the Shankarnagar campus which has more than 50,000 books. The college library has 7000 volumes and about 9000 volumes of campus LAD library which are relevant and often referred to by staff and students. These books are related to courses such are Interior Design, Hotel Management, Humanities along with general books on literature and GK. There are 36 national and 8 international reputed journals subscribed in the library. Apart from the books and journals, there are doctoral and master's thesis reports. And there are compilations of the papers published by the staff members. The documentation works by the students are also appropriately compiled and maintained in the library. Many rare and academically relevant books are available in the library and staff students of not only this college but many other colleges in the region often refer to it. Apart from this we also have a digital library database.

The college has a faculty who is dedicated to the co-ordination of sports activities and every year students participate in intercollegiate sports competitions like Badminton, Basket Ball, Volleyball, Taekwondo, Chess, Table Tennis, and Athletics and bring laurels to the college. The college provides sports kits, conveyance, refreshments, incentive marks, and club facilities to participating students in intercollegiate tournaments.

The college has a well-equipped computer lab with scanning, plotting, and printing facilities at hand. Our expert staff trains students in various computer courses needed for architectural drafting and presentations.

The college has two refreshment facilities – the main canteen towards the rear side of the campus and a Nescafe coffee kiosk near the entrance of the campus. Both these facilities offer good food at a very reasonable rate and are very conveniently located.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The College Alumni Association is to build global networking amongst the Alumni for the purpose of Professional growth Intellectual engagement and strengthening the fellowship.This Association also serves as a bridge between the Industry and the Institution, for interaction on new developments in different disciplines of architecture. college being a women's college, the Association wishes to stress the need of women's empowerment, removal of gender-biased social traits and providing equal and aptitude based opportunities to its Alumni.

The college has laboratories facility for the students equipped with all the necessary machines and equipment required for the lab jobs allotted to students. The lab area is open to students for model making a purpose to use whenever they wish.

The college has a small convenient tuck shop where all stationery required by the students is available at subsidized rates. It is conveniently located within the college premises so that students don’t have to go far to buy the stationery items.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
