HSC (Academic) - 

A pass in the HSC (Academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.

  • MBC & DNC 40.00%
  • SC / SCA / ST 35.00%

HSC (Vocational)

A pass in any one of the HSC (Vocational subject) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with a minimum average percentage put together as given below:

  • General Category 50.00%
  • Backward Class including Backward Class Muslim 45.00%
  • MBC & DNC 40.00%
  • SC / SCA / ST 35.00%

Admission Details

The selection committee constituted by Sona College of Technology as per the guidelines of the Institution will do selection of the candidates under this scheme. The selection is purely provisional and always subject to the confirmation from the Anna University / Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai.

I am really proud to pursuing Engineering on my college.It is really great with all necessary labs,libraries and Research and Development centers.And I am hosteller the providing food are Hygiene and enough for all.Though I felt nervous after I have joined but today I am very glad that all the faculties are really well teaching and experienced.
