Medical/Hospital
The University has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. Emergency service is always available by SIMS multispecialty hospital on campus.
Cafeteria
The University has a canteen facility for staff and students. The canteen provides nutritious and quality food at an affordable cost.
Library
The university has a library in the Art of the academic center at Vadapalani Campus. It is designed to meet the information needs of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. The Library has large collections of books, CDs, Journals, and Magazines covering various branches of Engineering & Technology, Science and Humanities, and their related fields The library is located in 'C' block, 1st floor, 'D' wing covering an area of 7500 sq. ft. with a seating capacity of 150. It is fully air-conditioned.
Sports
The University has South-West Inter-University Chess Tournament held at MGR College, Hosur from 29th September to 4th October 2009. The defending champions stamped their authority over the event as they successfully defended the title by scoring 27 points out of a possible 36. Sports;- Volleyball, Badminton, Chess, Basketball, Cricket.
I.T Infrastructure
The University has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Laboratories
The University has all the laboratories equipped to meet the standards of engineering education which will definitely kindle innovation and research in young minds leading to all-around development.
Auditorium
The University has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
Transport Facility
The University has a transport facility for students and staff. Bus Facility is available to the advantage of the students.
Boys Hostel
The University has 2 blocks allotted for Men with a capacity of 60 students in each block. The total capacity for Men’s hostel is about 120.
Wifi
The University has a Wi-Fi Internet facility is available on the campus for the faculty and the students.
Alumni Associations
The University has good networking for the alumni association.
Girls Hostel
The University has Separate hostels for Women available. Students who are desirous of staying in the hostel are advised to contact the Vadapalani Campus Office (C-Block). University buses will be operated for the hostel girls to commute between Ramapuram Girls Hostel and Vadapalani Campus.
Banks/ATMs
The University has Banks/ATM facilities for all students. ICICI and CUB ATM facilities are available inside the premises.

SIMS multispeciality hospital is right on campus, offering 24/7 emergency care . Air conditioned classrooms with ergonomic seating and projector setups smartboards available in many halls. On campus hostel equipped with security.Clean, modern infrastructure. building and whole infrastructure is so good and eye catching. campus is the smallest of all SRM campuses.no outdoor activities available.women’s hostel offsite, with a 40‑minute commute .

how is mtech integrated at vit and btech srm

Hello Aspirant,

If you have option between VIT Vellore and SRM , go for VIT anytime. It has better infrastructure,teaching staff and so many more opportunity. Many super dream company visit VIT for placement.The highest package for M.Tech goes upto 15-16 lakh.Also the environment is reall good there .
