Hey aspirant,
The fees at University School of Information Communication and Technology (USICT), Delhi for B.Tech+M.Tech integrated 5 year engineering course is approximately Rs 65,000-70,000 per annum. Dual degree courses are offered in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication and Software engineering.
The infrastructure is surprisingly modern and well-maintained, especially given the college's low-key public profile. The institution clearly prioritizes academic utility, providing well-equipped specialized labs, high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, and a robust library stocked with essential technical resources. The classrooms are designed to facilitate a focused learning environment, and the computer centers are updated to support modern programming and research .Overall, it is an ideal environment for dedicated students looking for a high-quality education and excellent professional prospects without the inflated costs of high-profile branding.
1) Infrastructure, facilities, and equipment The college has most of the basic infrastructure in place, but it’s not perfect. Academic buildings, libraries, and labs are available and functional. However, some facilities feel outdated and could benefit from modernization. While the college meets minimum requirements, it still lags behind top-tier institutions in terms of smart classrooms, advanced lab equipment, and overall campus aesthetics. Real-life feel: Everything you need is there, but not everything feels “next-gen.” 2) Classrooms, labs, and academic facilities Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, but not all of them are equipped with projectors or smart boards. Labs are present for all core subjects, and practical sessions are conducted regularly. That said, some lab equipment is old or shared among many students, which limits hands-on exposure at times. The library has a decent collection of books, but digital resources and study spaces could be improved. Example: During peak practical sessions, students often have to wait their turn to use certain lab tools. 3) Living spaces: cleanliness and hygiene Hostel rooms and common areas are generally clean, but cleanliness depends heavily on management and supervision. Washrooms are cleaned regularly, though maintenance can be inconsistent, especially during busy semesters. With better monitoring and quicker repair work, living conditions could improve significantly.
USICT has fantastic building, fully spacious campus and two large sports grounds. It has a nice and a huge library which is fully air-conditioned. Classrooms are big and well lit. Sports facilities are awesome. There is one basketball court, one volleyball court and one tennis court. The college also provides hostel facilities. There is a separate hostel for girls and boys.
