B.Tech Information Technology - Batch of 2022-01-01

Academics

I am a B.tech student in Information and technology field. Lectures are scheduled regularly along with practicals and labs. Teachers here are polite with good nature and help us with our doubts. Along with academics, Extra curricular activities are also arranged.

College Infra

College infrastructure is good. Our college have well equipped labs, conference hall, huge and spacious library with all necessary books. Classrooms are spacious with good seating arrangement. Classrooms are provided with blackboards. Big court for volleyball and badminton is exactly on the entrance. For basketball and other sports ground is behind the college. However we are not provided with wifi facility. Hostels are also available with healthy food. Overall it is good college.

Placements

Our college is best in case of Placements. Various companies like Barclays, Accenture, TCS, etc come for internships as well as full time from third year itself. Highest offer is 16 LPa and placement percentage is around 85-90 %.

B.Tech Computer Science and Technology - Batch of 2023-01-01

Academics

I have taken CST branch of many courses because I wanted to go into a corporate company.the quality of teaching is good,the teachers are well aware with the latest curriculum.UMIT is under SNDTWU, it's autonomous ,the university sets it's own examination papers .

College Infra

In general the college has the necessary faculties, equipment, infrastructure....the living spaces are clean and hygienic.hostel facultiesare there for the students.lifts are available in both college and hostel .a very freshening environment.

Campus Life

The campus of Usha Mittal institute of technology is very beautiful and refreshing.it has all the greenery and environmental friendly things all around.the railway station and multiple stores are available nearby .

Placements

The academic year was online.but the placement were of very good rate... Highest packege went to 18lakhs per annum .and the average package is 7-8lakhs per year.many companies like Barclays, Accenture, Deutche bank,Oracle ,jp Morgan,etc.come for placement process.

Value For Money

The college fees for me was approximately 30 thousand and hostel fees were around 40 thousands per year. I think I got the worth of the company paid because the companies coming for recruitment are very well established and pay well to the freshers .

B.Tech Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2023-01-01

Academics

I am doing B.Tech in electronics and I have interest in machines so doing it.The teaching is good of teachers in the college.Our cirriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.

College Infra

Not all facilities and equipment are available in Usha Mittal Institute of Technology.No smart boards or projecters are available in classroom except one conference room.Hostels facilities are provided to eligible students.The living spaces are averagely cleaned.

Campus Life

Yes the college campus is good.Theres a ground for sports to play.Interaction between the techers and students are good. It is well connected with the station and various bus stops so transportation is easy.

Placements

Placement is good as per previous data.The highest salary package up till now is 18 lakhs per year and the average package is 7-8lakhs.Our college is supportive during our placements they guide us very well.

Value For Money

Course cost per year is 40 thousands.Yes feels my money is getting worth. Because the companies coming for the placement process offer the average package around 7-8lakhs. Companies such as Barclays,Colgate,Accentures,etc.
