48 MonthsBachelor of Technology in Information Technology is a four years full-time undergraduate engineering course offered by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and approved by AICTE.
Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the Academic Year for which the admissions are being conducted.
- NRI Candidates (sons and daughters of NRIs) 5% Eligibility: A pass in the qualifying examination with not less than 50% of marks in the prescribed group subjects or 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination or CGPA equivalent to 5 on a scale of 10.
- The remaining seats shall be filled with candidates including from other States and Union Territories who have secured rank at AIEEE and secured not less than 45% of marks in the prescribed group subjects in the qualifying examination.
- The seats remaining unfilled from (ii) & (iii) above shall be filled with eligible candidates on merit basis who have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. with the prescribed group and obtained at least 45% marks in the prescribed group / 40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories and secured a rank at the Common Entrance Test.
- The seats remaining unfilled from (ii), (iii) & (iv) above shall be filled with candidates on merit basis securing not less than 45% (40% in case of reserved categories) in the prescribed group subjects taken together / aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
Admission to II Year B.TECH - [Lateral Entry]
- Additional 20% of intake are admitted to II year B.Tech. course under lateral entry scheme based on ECET rank.
- Students from Diploma and B.Sc. streams are eligible.

It has a very speed internet and the best library facility compared to all colleges in India. Indira Gandhi library is one of the best libraries with a number of publications and papers. The quality and infrastructure of the hostel are very good. Best medical emergency facilities are available on campus and we also have very good sports and games facilities.

We have 24 hours of free Wi-Fi, the labs are well-equipped and we even have ACs in our lab rooms. And classrooms are large and in each class we can seat up to a maximum of 80 to 90 students. We have 4 floors with a huge collection of books as a library, which is open until 9.30 pm for girls and 11.30 pm for boys who stay in the hostel. As I am a day scholar, I do not know much about the hostels because we are not allowed to stay there.

Our college buildings are well-designed. Our college provides good facilities. Air-conditioners are available in classrooms. We have separate labs for different subjects, including a Research and Development lab and an English Communication Skills lab. Many books are available in the library. A basketball court is available. Wi-Fi is available. There are cooling water stations all around the campus. The canteen is good.
