Vyas College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) was set up in 2008 and is an affiliated college situated in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Currently situated at a 5-acre campus in Greater Noida, VCET is approved and recognised by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). It has three B.Tech programmes in its portfolio for a total student enrolment of 156 and a faculty of 53 members. This commitment to quality education is well articulated in VCET’s core disciplines of engineering, such as civil engineering, computer science and engineering, and electrical engineering. NH-62 Pali Road College is well located, which enables students from different parts of Rajasthan and other regions to access it easily.

Structured below are the progressive facilities offered by VCET to improve the student experience. The college has different blocks for boys and girls with reader rooms, TV facilities, and messing arrangements. Alma mater is a centre of learning, stocked with more than 80 thousand books selected for engineering faculties only. VCET's assets include over 300 PCs as well as other high-configuration forms of server hardware. It also has an auditorium for carrying out occasions and seminars, a gymnasium, and a “cafeteria” where the learners are provided with balanced diets. VCET also has provisions for sports lovers with indoor and outdoor sport facilities for cricket, football, volleyball, and basket ball. Its transports are well arranged to afford easy transportation, with 52 buses that help students access major landmarks within Jodhpur and Pali.

VCET currently offers three full-time B.Tech programmes: it offers programmes in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The total approved intake for these courses is one hundred and fifty-six; from this, Civil Engineering takes the largest of ninety-six, while Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering departments take thirty each. All the programmes are four-year full-time courses that equip students with sound theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience in their areas of specialisation.

In VCET, the majority of admissions are done with the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) and the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main scores. 85% of the REAP/JEE Main scores are used to determine admission to B.Tech. programmes across the university. Minimum eligibility is 10+2 in the respective subject combination, having a minimum of 45% marks for the general category and 40% for SC/ST/non creamy layer OBC/SBC candidates of Rajasthan. VCET considers admission applications from such students who have qualified the JEE Main examination and this exam is usually held in the months of January and April. The college also thereby takes a look at the academic performance in the 12th standard board examination results.
