Younis Sultan College of Engineering, Hyderabad, was set up in the year 2004 in Mudimiyal (Chevella), Rangareddy district of Telangana, as an affiliated college. The institute provides many engineering courses, the sole objective of which is to develop professional engineers by imparting the best technical education to the students. The college has only 58 members of faculties and wants to create an academic environment for the students and faculties as well as professional development.

The college consults in all the modern conceptions in establishing and availing adequate facilities within the college premise for the enhanced learning and personal development of the students. The library plays a central role as an information resource centre Due to its importance, the library contains all forms of collections that can be useful to the students in improving their knowledge in many fields. Advanced laboratories are available for each department of engineering to relate with practical experiences vital for learning. Younis Sultan College of Engineering has good Information Technology facilities so that students are aware with modern technological trends. Standard and well-equipped classroom improve effective teaching and learning in the school. This is an Affiliated College of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

Younis Sultan College of Engineering has four full-time B.Tech courses to pursue, with each of them taking four years to complete. The specialisation programmes are mechanical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, and computer science and engineering. Every course has an admission capacity of 60, thus providing the university and each programme with 240 student seats. This list of fields is diverse and enables the students to have a certain choice of a certain specific area of engineering depending on their desires and needs in the future job market.
