IIT Delhi, the exam conducting authority of GATE 2020,has released theexam dates at gate.iitd.ac.in. This year, the engineering exam is scheduled for February 1, 2, 8 and 9 in two sessions. IIT Delhi will hold the exam in CBT mode. GATE Registration will start from September 3, 2019.GATE score enables students to gain admission to various prestigious PG programs in IITs and IISc such as -
ME (Master of Engineering)
MTech (Master of Technology)
Doctor of Philosophy
Students also get direct interview calls for prestigious PSU jobs in India whose starting salary is sometimes as high as 14.9L (example, Power Grid.

Through gate you can do m. Tech in the branch you are doing b. Tech on. Then you can go for phd and then for research papers. For gate try to aim for getting iits and nits. They are the best for m. Tech. Other state government engineering colleges also take admission for m. Tech through gate
