Hello sir, Good afternoon I got 26 percentile in my first jee mains so In April I'll try once again but I'm having my board exams up March 17 but unfortunately jee April attempt commence from April 2 what to do to clear it please give me suggestions
Good afternoon! 26 percentile is low and hence there is a huge scope for improvement. The 16-day gap between Boards (March 17) and JEE (April 2) is your “sprint zone,” but only if you stop trying to cover everything. Instead of trying to cover everything in short period of time, you should focus on smart utilisation of this remaining time. Use Board preparation smartly and focus more on the high weightage topics.
JEE Physics and Chemistry rely heavily on NCERT. Try to Memorise Inorganic reactions, Biomolecules and Polymers for Chemistry, and focus on formulas and derivations in Physics. After each Board paper, spend 1 hour solving PYQs from the same chapters.
Some of the high scoring topics are as following -
Physics: Modern Physics, Semiconductors, Units, Current Electricity
Maths: Statistics, Vector-3D, Matrices
Chemistry: Organic chemistry (Alcohol, Aldehydes, Ketones, etc), Hydrocarbons, d-f block, Coordination
Target around 90–110 marks. Solve last two year question papers and give at least one mock test daily to analyse your performance. One key point you should take note is to avoid negative marking. Only answer the questions you are confident about. Avoid guesswork at any cost.
All the Best!!!
