Actually in a year You can make 2 attempts but from now every year you can take twice the JEE mains exam so the total 6 times you can write the JEE mains

Jee mains will now take place twice a year that makes two chances in a year and as you know you can give jee 3 consecutives tear so that makes 6 attempts to appear in jee.
