About Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune
Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics Pune, deemed to be University, was established in 1930. Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics was established by the Servants of India Society. The institute is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950. GIPE is the oldest research and training institute in Economics in the country.
Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics offers admissions to various courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. These courses include B.Sc, M.Sc, MA and Ph.D. Admissions to these courses are offered based on merit and entrance examinations. Candidates should appear in CUET UG entrance examination for admission to B.Sc programme, CUET PG entrance examination for admission to M.Sc and MA programmes and All India Entrance Examination for admission to Ph.D programmes at GIPE.
Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics Pune has a Placement Cell. College Infrastructure
Gokhale college offers a well maintained campus with spacious classrooms, vibrant library and clean common areas. Though some facilities are dated overall infrastructure is nice for smooth learning of the student.

The college infrastructure is functional yet somewhat outdated. Classrooms lack modern amenities and while the library offers essential resources , more digital offerings and extended hours would be more . Campus is neat and clean.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure is very good for us and our hostel and classrooms are well maintained. There is sometimes issue of water and electricity, mess food is fine, the library is awesome. The wifi is an issue at times.
