This is a five-year dual degree programme. Living organisms, morphology, physiology, anatomy, behaviour, origin, etc are studied in this programme. There are ten semesters in total. The degree of this programme will be provided by the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research.

Eligibility Criteria

BS-MS students are admitted through a national-level IISER Aptitude Test (IAT). Admission to the BS-MS program at IISER Mohali is coordinated through a pan-IISER Joint Admissions Committee for all IISERs across India, which is coordinated centrally through this portal.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent level exams with the science stream in the current year of application or the year before are eligible to apply for admissions.

College Infrastructure

IISER MOHALI has a very large campus spread in 145 acre with a lot of greenary and wildlife in campus. College have all the modern labs and digital classes. There is a Central Analytical Facility in the college where scientific instruments of costs more than 1 crore are there and are very sensitive to noise. Library is of 7 floor with online facility. Every sports has an individual stadium. Cricket cum Football Stadium has more than 1000 people sitting capacity. There are indoor stadium as well.
