A Minimum CPI of 6.0 in a 10-point scale or 60% of marks or First Class in B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc or equivalent in any discipline along with a valid GATE score or NET(JRF)/INSPIRE qualified.
Or
B Tech degrees in relevant discipline from an IIT with a minimum CPI of 8.0 or above in which case GATE score is not mandatory.
For Sponsored (Full-Time)/Part-Time/IITG Project-staff category, GATE score or NET/INSPIRE etc. are not required.
